About this session

Format: Discussion

What conversations have shaped your LGBTQ+ journey? When do you feel most able to be your authentic self? How can we build deeper connections within our communities during Pride and beyond?

Pride is often a time of celebration, visibility, and community. It's a chance to meet new people, reconnect with old friends, and feel part of something bigger. But meaningful connections don't always happen automatically, they often begin with a conversation.

In this Pride season session, we'll explore how we move beyond introductions and surface-level chats to build genuine friendships, community, and a sense of belonging. Through discussion we'll reflect on the conversations that have helped us feel seen, understood, and connected, while sharing ideas for creating deeper connections within our LGBTQ+ communities and everyday lives.

Whether you're a regular on the scene, new to LGBTQ+ spaces, or simply looking to connect with others, join us for a welcoming conversation about friendship, belonging, and the power of being heard.
