LGBT HERO has a number of exciting volunteering opportunities coming up over the next few months for a number of projects and fundraisers and we need your help to run them!

Upcoming Opportunities:

SPORTS DAY 2024:

Sports Day is back on Bank Holiday Monday 26 August at the Vauxhall Pleasure Gardens. Sports Day is our biggest fundraising event of the year and brings in a hundreds of members of the LGBTQ+ community to watch teams take part in your classic sports day activities all with the goal to help to raise money for LGBT HERO and entertain. This amazing event has a history dating back to 2007.

A huge amount of effort goes into making Sports Day such a sensational spectacle every year and we couldn't make it happen without volunteers.

We need volunteers for a range of activities during the day, including:

Collecting donations
Selling raffle tickets
Line judges
Scoring
Teams organisation
Litter picking
Event set up
And much much more!

You have the option for a morning shift, afternoon shift or be a super volunteer and join us all day! It truly is a fabulous day out and a fun event to volunteer for!
