LGBTQ+ safety and awareness training is one of the core activities for Lambeth Allies members. These sessions are delivered by our experienced staff who instruct members on language, identity, inclusiveness, safety, and creating change.

Kristian Jackson (he / they)

Kristian Jackson is an award-winning journalist, author, and lifelong LGBTQ+ activist. He’s also a bit of a history nerd.

His monthly column about living with HIV, 'Kristian+Life', ran for four years in FS Magazine. He has also written for several other LGBTQ+ publications, including Attitude Magazine and Gay Times, as well as appearing on TV and radio.

Kristian was listed in Pink News' top 50 most influential LGBT people on Twitter, alongside Ellen DeGeneres and Stephen Fry. He was also named in The Independent On Sunday's Rainbow List as 'One To Watch'.

Despite enjoying a less public profile nowadays, Kristian is still a huge activist and advocate for LGBTQ+ issues, especially relating to equality, and sexual and mental health.

Sam Killy (he / they)

Sam is the Community Fundraising and Engagement Officer for LGBT HERO and orchestrates the many community activities and events in the charity's calendar. They are a staunch support of LGBTQ+ equality and brings a wealth of experience in managing difficult customer / client relationships to the Lambeth Allies programme.

Before joining LGBT HERO Sam worked for retail sector at Lush Cosmetics for seven years. He has worked on providing Gender Inclusivity training within lush whilst gaining experience in customer service, people management and events.
