As part of #ProjectHappy we spoke to LGBTQ+ people who have been affected by mental health issues. Phil Samba (also known as @idiosyncraticXL) is passionate campaigner for BME gay men and their sexual and mental health. His outspoken work in multiple campaigns and online includes the Me. Him. Us HIV prevention series for GMFA. Here he talks to us about what mental health means to him, how therapy can help, what his experience as a black gay man has taught him about race and mental health inequality.
