HangOuts are a safe online (Zoom) social and support space for LGBTQ+ people of diverse backgrounds to share experiences, talk, listen, learn and make friends. Our aim is reduce the types of isolation (including social, cultural and geographical) we may be experiencing and also a place to connect with others through discussions and creative workshops.
Each HangOut is facilitated. Sometimes there is a topic of discussion, or a creative workshop and other times we can just talk and listen to one another.
You're welcome to spend more time listening than speaking and you are not expected to tell us about your sexuality or gender unless you want to.
The space is safe, private and confidential; and supportive.
